Very popular at spas and resorts is the papaya facial mask. This tropical fruit contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, plus an enzyme that helps exfoliate and smooth the complexion.
Fresh papayas are available at most grocery stores during the warm months. To use one out of season, let it ripen a few days on the kitchen counter before using in a facial mixture.
Ingredients:
- Papaya
Instructions:
- Peel and remove the seeds from a ripe papaya.
- Chop it into small pieces and blend in a blender or food processor until a very smooth paste is formed.
- Apply the facial to cleansed neck and face, but not around the eye area. Wait 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
